NISSAN ARIYA 4 HR. LOFI VIDEO
This ad for Nissan got over 18 million views and is 4 hours long. It recently placed in Fast Company's 'Top 5 Ads of the Year'. I was tasked with designing the skyline and creating the interior of the car. Nissan was clear that it had to look exactly like the Ariya, but also have an anime-background-art style. The rest of the team worked together to create this beautiful 4 hour animation, following suit of the 'Lofi-girl' style. Directed by Simon WIlches and produced by Lauren Siller.

DESIGN:


BECAUSE THIS WAS AN AD TO PROMOTE THE NEW ARIYA, THE INTERIOR HAD TO LOOK EXACTLY RIGHT. BECAUSE THE CAR WASN'T YET OUT FOR SALE, THIS MEANT THERE WEREN'T MANY PICTURES. THANKFULLY, I WAS ABLE TO GO BACK AND FORTH WITH NISSAN TO MAKE SURE IT LOOKED JUST LIKE THE REAL THING.


BECUASE THE VIDEO IS 4 HOURS LONG, WE KNEW THAT WE WOULD NEED TO GET CREATIVE WITH THE BACKGROUND. WE MADE A VARIETY OF DIFFERENT ASSETS THAT OUR COMPOSITOR ARRANGED IN VARIOUS COMBINATIONS AND LIGHTING CONDITIONS TO CREATE A SENSE OF ENDLESSNESS.
