After a long days work fishing or raking clams, the tired and thirsty often row over to the Barncale. The Barnacle's unique design allows it to mechanically lower its roof and completely seal itself from the elements. This feature allows the barnacle to comfortably reside in the delta flats, which often flood this time of year.
